How does it work?

  1. You will need to provide a project description outlining the tasks for which the placee will be employed.
  2. We will then draw up a short list of placees and send you their CVs.
  3. You can then arrange interviews, select your preferred candidate and agree to a start date.
  4. Before the placement begins, it is necessary to complete a project proposal form covering Health and Safety issues.
  5. A standard agreement is drawn up between the company, the placee and ITWales.
  6. The company is required to provide written terms and conditions of employment.
  7. During the placement you will receive a visit from an ITWales representative. We are also available by phone or email to answer any queries you may have during the course of the placement.
  8. At the end of the placement you are asked to complete a feedback form and generate an invoice for the agreed subsidy (for VAT purposes, this is zero rated).
  9. Placees are subject to employee National Insurance, tax and holiday regulations.

What will it cost?

For all subsequent placements companies are required to pay the wage in full.
