Sophisticated Security Solutions Hit European Market
Third Millennium Systems, a manufacturer of advanced access control and electronic security products, is set to replicate its major UK success in the European market. The Pontypool-based
company - a Security Excellence Award winner - was established in 1996 as a niche player in the global security market.
Third Millennium Systems' ability to
provide innovative solutions to security problems has helped the company win clients from the world's leading security companies.
"We supply our clients with a flexible package from our broad range of security options. This flexibility gives us the edge over our competitors," commented Pete Jones, Managing Director. "The
choice factor adds value, as does our ability to customise to an individual client's requirements. This has earned us our blue chip client base."
Third Millennium Systems has been working with WalesTrade International via its Objective 1 funded Programme, ExportAssist to formalise new distribution deals in Germany. This adds to an
existing export portfolio in Belgium, Netherlands and Eastern Europe. The security market in Western Europe is estimated to be worth $15.6 billion. With an estimated growth rate of just over 7% per
annum, this figure will hit $22.3 billion by 2006.
"WTI supported our visit to the Security Trade Show in Essen. This event was extremely important as it enabled us to place our latest product line before a new audience," said Jones.
WTI is currently helping Third Millennium Systems to assess the market in France, by identifying both key potential clients and major competitors.
Chris Sweet, WTI's Export Development Counsellor (EDC) for Torfaen commented, "This company is highly focussed and is driving the business forward very proficiently, as the success in the UK
and now Europe illustrates," he explained. "We hope to see its export markets expand to additional European countries, and potentially, further afield."
