Bangor
Over the last five years ITWales has gained a growing reputation in South and West Wales and is now extending its support to cover the North Wales region from a new office at the School of
Informatics, University of Wales, Bangor.
ITWales, which is part funded by the European Social Fund, provides practical, accessible support to Welsh business by brokering collaboration between academics and industrial partners. ITWales
also provides business links through a proactive Business Club, bringing the latest IT Information and business opportunities to companies in Wales via seminars, workshops and other events.
The launch of ITWales Bangor will commence at 10.45 am, and includes a keynote address by Andrew Davies Minister for Economic Development and Transport, Welsh Assembly Government.
Coffee and tea will be available from 10.15 am prior to the formal welcome. Following the official proceedings there will be a buffet lunch, served from 12 noon, and plenty of opportunity to network and
discuss future collaborations with the ITWales teams from both North and South Wales. There will also be the chance to join a guided tour of the new CAST Technium building.
