Dvana Limited is a full service IT consultancy, based in Colwyn Bay, North Wales. Dvana provide both strategic and tactical IT services for small to medium sized companies. Their experience and expertise through a range of disciplines enables the company to be the IT department that all small and medium sized companies would love to have, but for reasons of scale do not. As part of the full suite of services, Dvana offer security consulting to keep both physical and data assets protected. This experience is combined, via the Dvana Design Studio, to offer businesses access to affordable design services, covering all aspects of graphic design and image creation, along with website design and hosting services. Sali Earls spoke to Katherine Bean PhD, the founder of Dvana Limited to find out more about the organisation.

Dr Katherine Bean, founder of Dvana Limited What's the history of your company?
I founded Dvana after working with large multinational companies in North America, developing products, researching, promoting, liaising and managing several businesses. I decided to utilise my expertise for the benefit of those companies who wished to avail themselves of the wide variety of services offered on a consultancy or contract basis. To that end I have put together a dedicated team of professional and highly qualified staff covering the full spectrum of the services offered, whose sole aim is to provide our clients with a service second to none.

What unique products/services does your company provide?
Dvana is a full service consultancy. We offer both management and implementation services, so we can run a project for a client and, at the same time, ensure that the project is implemented according to the quality, risk, time and budgetary criteria set out. Our extensive experience of working and liaising between the UK and North America and many other countries worldwide is only one of the ways that Dvana adds value to the relationship.

By providing end to end solutions for our clients, we enable them to embark upon projects and endeavours that they would normally not consider. Our staff have the experience and drive to make our clients' goals a success, this is possible because we engage with our clients as partners, we look upon our relationships as something we wish to keep and develop into the future. Our clients continued success enables us to be successful and visa versa - our success helps our clients to be successful. Our approach is to engage with our clients and to ensure that we work closely with them to understand their requirements and goals. Where do you see your company going in the future?
Building out a larger client base and extending the range of services offered, so that we are able to provide additional value to the existing relationship, building the partnership to success.
