Welsh SMEs are now widely using ICT applications to support day-to-day business processes. Many also see the potential of extending the use of technology to strengthen business development,
increase profitability and ensure smart working.
The barriers to expansion are sometimes too great for a small business to overcome:
Too little time; too little knowledge; too few resources: dealing with IT issues is often well down the list of priorities for any business.
ITWales is committed to supporting the continued development of technology in SMEs across the Objective 1 areas of Wales. At this event we will use SME case studies to demonstrate some of the key
business development opportunities for SMEs and will highlight some of the support opportunities, in particular the ITWales project and placement schemes
