Research and Development Project Demonstration Day

Monday 24th April
1.30pm - 5pm

Student Common Room
School of Informatics
University of Wales Bangor

Join us for an open event to demonstrate a selection of undergraduate team-projects currently being undertaken by second year students at the School of Informatics, University of Wales Bangor. Local businesses are invited to come along and meet the students, academics and organisations currently participating in and benefiting from the ITWales Research and Development programme.

SMEs often find the barriers to expanding their IT systems are too great to overcome: too little time; too little knowledge; too few resources. Dealing with IT issues is often well down the list of priorities for any business. The ITWales project scheme exists to support the development of new ideas and is committed to advancing the use of technology in SMEs across the Objective 1 areas of Wales. We are working to develop new collaborative partnerships in the North Wales area and hope that this event can help build connections between students and local companies, which may result in future projects between the parties.
