Swansea technology company agrees India distribution rightsnsure, Wales' leading online backup and storage service provider, has announced a 3-year distribution agreement with RB Comtec PVT Ltd to distribute nsure:express throughout the Indian sub-continent.
Ravi Pall, Managing Director of RB Comtec said "This is a very significant deal for us, we will begin to sell comtec:express at the beginning of August once some small but necessary visual changes are made. We have committed to develop sales from all of our regional offices and have created a division to manage the distribution of express throughout India." RB Comtec is one of India's leading Communication and Networking solution providers for Converged Networks, with offices in all the metropolitan and A-Class cities and annual turnover in excess of £12M. Founded in 1986, they have had huge success in launching and distributing foreign manufacturers products into the Indian Market. RB Comtec have a substantial existing customer base to whom they can deliver comtec:express, and have started a recruitment drive to bring the necessary sales and marketing professionals on board to successfully launch this new product offering. "We are delighted to have such a strong partner on board." said Kevin Plunkett, Chief Executive Officer of nsure, "RB Comtec is a well known and highly respected brand throughout India which has been established through their professionalism and technical ability." Talks are already taking place with a view to introducing other products from the nsure portfolio to the Indian market. Plunkett concludes, "We will develop the comtec:express brand which, when up and running, will give us a template to explore opportunities within other countries." |
Called comtec:express throughout the region, the deal is worth approximately £1M over the 3
year period and will help secure employment in Wales for an additional 6 people. |
