Internet 'has amplified demands'
Improved access to enhanced communications means that businesses have no excuse but to respond to consumers' inquiries quickly, it has been claimed.
Both author of E: The Novel of Liars, Lunch and Lost Knickers Matthew Beaumont and mobile email expert at Vodafone UK Bryony
Clow stated that the internet has speeded everything up.
Mr Beaumont suggested that consumers have become "spoiled" and now expect help instantly, something that may be of interest to those with IT firms in Wales.
And in turn Ms Clow noted that organisations must offer a good level of quick assistance or face losing out in the long run.
"There is no excuse these days for not getting back to someone within the hour just to say 'yep, got your email. I'll get back to you soon'," she commented.
She remarked that the general public want instant gratification and this must usually be supplied now.
A Bellwether survey has highlighted that 12 months ago businesses were only anticipated to deal with queries in two hours, but this has now dropped.
