A complete interactive atlas on the Web. Just click on the UK outline map to start browsing. Or enter the name of a British city, town or village, street name (London only) or postcode to get a detailed
map.
Streetmap.co.uk
You can search by street name, telephone code, grid reference ... even latitude and longitude! As well as showing you maps, they offer conversion from postcodes to grid references and latitude and
longitude.
Maporama
Well-known interactive map site based in Europe. It has what you've come to expect from a interactive map tool and more. Maporama has street-level maps for many countries and major road maps
for many more. Visit the site to find many more tools including driving direction information for many countries.
Ordnance Survey
If you go to the Ordnance Survey site and choose "Get-a-map" it allows you to type in a grid reference, place name or postcode and search.
GIS Resources
This site is excellent for anyone interested in or working with maps or the GIS industry. It has links to loads of other GIS sites and resources and is a good place to start researching into suppliers,
related sites, universities and government.
